Trauma-Informed Care Training

Trauma-Informed Care Training teaches participants about the long-term consequences of trauma on individuals and the community. Trauma-Informed Care reframes the thought process of, “What’s wrong with you?” to “What’s happened to you?” This philosophy gives an understanding that all people we encounter could have experienced trauma in some way. How can we help and encourage them to be resilient, and how can we be supportive in that journey. Trauma-Informed Care Trainings are offered for levels 1-4 for staff and community partners to ensure community collaboration and a common language around trauma.
