"...Our primary goal is to improve the lives of children and families."
"Trauma informed care is the compilation of the collective science in response to observed consequences of trauma exposure over the last 100 years"
Being Trauma Informed means taking the knowledge of how trauma impacts and applying it to our interactions with those we come into relationship with whether at work with clients, co-workers, organizations, community or home with our families.
Young House Family Services received a generous donation from the Alliant Energy Foundation of $2,250. This donation will go to our IMPACT Program and will be directly used to help children and families with basic need items.
